hoarseness persists after 4-6 weeks consult your doctor. Patients are often worried about swollen glands in the neck when suffering from throat infections. The body defence system involves production of antibodies and white blood cells to fight against infection. This is why the glands swell up. The swelling usually goes down after a month or so. If not, then consult the doctor. |
