Leopard (Panthera pardus). This is 'Beauty', of BBC Big Cat Diary fame, in a place called 'Leopard Gorge' by the rangers in the Masai Mara game park in Kenya. We were lucky to spend a few hours at midday alone with Beauty before the crowds arrived from the camps. Pentax Z1P, 35-110 lens and Pentax 500FTZ flash. Masai Mara,1998.
